It's hard to imagine a huge celebrity like Jennifer Aniston would ever have an issue getting into places, but it seems that's what happened at this year's Emmy Awards.

The Friends star arrived on the red carpet in a sparkling strapless dress with matching jewelry, ready to join the rest of the nominees for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

Aniston had been nominated for her role in the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show; an award that ultimately went to actor Anna Sawai for her role in Shōgun.

However, Aniston apparently came close to actually missing the announcement of the winner altogether.

You see, even celebrities as big as Aniston need to have tickets to the Emmy Awards, probably so organizers know exactly how many people they need to cater for.

However, according to USA Today, Aniston ran into ticket troubles when she attempted to scan her ticket at security.

The star was reportedly trying to get through for an entire two minutes before an onlooker shouted to the security team, saying: "Why are you not letting her in? You know who this is!"

Likely knowing they couldn't exactly deny knowing one of the biggest celebrities in the world, the security team then let Aniston pass and begin posing for photos before she made her way into the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California.

While Aniston didn't end up winning in her category, The Morning Show did manage to collect some awards at the event.

The drama series, which also stars Reese Witherspoon, took home awards for Outstanding Contemporary Hairstyling and Outstanding Contemporary Makeup, while actor Billy Crudup won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

Aniston has previously spoken about what she hopes the show will offer to its viewers, telling Variety: "There’s something about allowing people to sit and digest [weekly], because everything is so fast. People’s attention spans are just so limited.

"To have a moment to sit and digest and think about it and talk about it, maybe watch it again to try to understand it. Then to go back to when we used to communicate with one another and connect with one another, which is something that I feel that we have drastically lost with these phones and the amount of distractions. God bless the ’90s."

Even before the conclusion of the show's third season in 2023, The Morning Show was renewed for a fourth season which is yet to get a release date.
