While many are still coming to terms with the news, Jane Fonda apparently 'predicted' Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's divorce months prior.
On Tuesday (20 August), J.Lo filed for divorce from Affleck after rumors of the couple's separation had been circulating for months.
Lopez filed the documents herself without an attorney and listed the couple's separation date as April 26, 2024, according to Variety.
The documents filed also reportedly don't indicate whether or not there is a prenuptial agreement between the couple, the BBC reported earlier this week.

However, Lopez did allegedly waive spousal support and is asking the judge to deny Affleck such too.
After learning of the divorce earlier this week, fans have recalled a rather honest conversation between Lopez and Jane Fonda that aired in the Amazon Prime documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told.
In it, Fonda spoke honestly about Lopez's relationship with Affleck.

"I want you to know that—I don't entirely know why—but I feel invested in you and Ben," Fonda told Lopez over the phone in the doc, "and I really, really, really want this to work."
She continued: "However, this is my concern. it feels too much like you're trying to prove something instead of just living it. You know, every other photograph is the two of you kissing and the two of you hugging."
At the time, Lopez was quick to play down the suggestion and reassure her pal.
"That's just us living our life," the actor promptly said.
Fonda and Lopez have been good friends since they bonded on the set of Monster-in-Law in 2005.
Ahead of shooting scenes for This Is Me…Now, Fonda spoke to Lopez's manager, Benny Medina, about her marriage to Affleck - which was later relayed to the Second Act actor.
"I believe that everyone in the entire world is pulling for this relationship and this love," Jane told him.
"And the idea of how you present that is so sacrosanct, is so important that it should be handled in a way that you aren't overly flaunting it, so much so that it creates any form of criticism or resentment.
"My biggest concern is that when critics or people sort of come at her in any way."
Lopez and Affleck were one of Hollywood's biggest couples in the Noughties, having originally met in 2002.
The romance came to an end in 2004 however before it was all rekindled in 2021.
The pair tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022.
