Jimmy Fallon has admitted he was 'blindsided' after learning an A-list celebrity once had a crush on him and he had absolutely no idea.
As the host of a late-night chat show, Fallon has heard all sorts of stories in his time.
It's part of his job to get stars to share interesting and unknown details about their lives, but he was taken by surprise when one of his guests told a story with Fallon himself at the centre of it.

The presenter recalled the moment while taking part in 20 Questions: On Deadline, when he described inviting a guest on to talk about one of their upcoming movies or an award they were up for.
It's common for stars to go on the show to help promote one of their projects, and the guest in this particular episode was none other than Nicole Kidman - a certified A-lister with a whole host of incredible titles under her belt.
Fallon recalled how Kidman was 'great' on the show and 'looked amazing', but he was caught completely off guard when the star turned to him explained that she'd previously 'liked' him.
Confused, Fallon asked for more information, to which Kidman responded: "I had a crush on you and I came over to your apartment."

Now, I know what you're thinking - I'm sure even Jimmy Fallon would remember having Kidman come to his apartment; that's not exactly an encounter you'd forget any time soon.
But it turns out that while Fallon did remember their meeting, he didn't have the same impression of it that Kidman did.
Kidman had gone to Fallon's apartment following a discussion with a mutual friend when she was casting her love interest for the 2005 movie Bewitched.

Speaking on Deadline's podcast, Fallon explained: "I thought [she'd come over] for this movie she was doing, Bewitched, which Will Ferrell ended up getting [...] I thought it was a chemistry thing."
But it wasn't a movie test to see how well the pair got on, and Fallon's realization that he'd misread the situation left him horrified.
“My face just melted. It was the most embarrassing thing," he said.

Forced to ask himself the question 'did I date Nicole Kidman?', Fallon has since taken the ordeal on the chin and managed to make light of it in subsequent interactions with Kidman's husband, Keith Urban.
“What’s been fun is running into Keith Urban at all these parties and stuff, who’s a really good sport,” Fallon said on 20 Questions: On Deadline.
“I went up to him at the Met Gala and went, 'Hey, I think we might have dated once?'”
Fallon might be kicking himself now over what could have been, but a romance between the pair obviously just wasn't meant to be.
