Singer JoJo Siwa has opened up about her experience on Celebrity Big Brother and how it made her realize that she wanted to 'fix things in her life'.
Siwa, 21, entered the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this month alongside co-stars including Chris Hughes, Danny Beard, Trisha Goddard and Mickey Rourke, who ultimately left the show after making a number of controversial comments.
During her time on the British reality show, Siwa surprised audiences by announcing that despite having 'always told [herself]' she was a lesbian, she'd had a realization on the show that that was not actually the case.

She explained: "I think being here, I've realized I am not a lesbian, I’m queer. And I think that's really cool—I'm switching letters! I've dropped the L and I've gone to the Q, baby! That's what I love about sexuality."
After the series came to an end, Siwa appeared on the British chat show This Morning today (April 28), where she discussed her time on the show and opened up further about how it had impacted her life.
In the interview, Siwa recalled how the first two days in the Big Brother house were 'fun', but then on the third day she was left with her 'own thoughts'.

Describing being 'away from outside opinions, away from everything', she explained: "I sat with myself and I really realized things that I was OK with – I should not have been OK with.”

Host Cat Deeley asked whether she was talking about her relationship with Kath Ebbs, her partner who she broke up with at the Celebrity Big Brother wrap party, to which Siwa said that was indeed 'one' aspect that she was referring to.
Siwa said: "[I mean] so many things, that is one of them, but so many things. And then I, you know, obviously I wanted to hold them inside, though, because I didn’t want to air that out very publicly.

"But there were countless things that I was like, that’s not something that I should be OK with and I don’t need to be OK with and I’m not happy, and I knew as soon as I got out, I wanted to fix things in my life and make the changes that I needed to make."

The reality star went on to describe her experience in the Celebrity Big Brother house as 'exhilarating', adding: "It’s 20 days, but it feels like it’s four and a half years, and the first thing you want to do when you get out is just exactly what you need to do in your life to make it as good as you can.
"And I think I realized just how not great things were that I was pretending they were great.. And it’s been hard, but it’s been good. And I’m very happy with where I am now. I’m very grateful.”

Siwa also said during the interview that she did not 'plan' to break up with Ebbs at the show's wrap party, but when she was asked if she was 'happy', she simply replied: "No."
