Katy Perry is known for her rather unique outfits, and Luke Bryan had something to say about her most recent attire.
The two stars are judges on American Idol together, with Lionel Richie making up the third and final judge.
Perry has been on the panel since 2018, and recently announced that she's leaving the show at the end of the season.

Sharing the news with Jimmy Kimmel, the 'Firework' hitmaker said: "I love Idol so much, it has connected me with the heart of America but I think I need to get out there and feel that pulse to my own beat, you know what I'm saying, Jimmy."
“I think this will probably be my last show, my last season for American Idol," she added.
Now, as her final season continues to air, co-judge Bryan make a rather amusing remark about Perry's outfit last night (April 14).

39-year-old Perry was seen sporting a long black dress with mesh detailing, paired with large pom-poms attached to it - and country star Bryan compared her attire to a car wash.
TV host Ryan Seacrest joked that Bryan's trousers appear to be getting tighter, when Perry chimed in: "And Luke said I look like the inside of a car wash."
And, in true Katy Perry style, the singer has since poked fun at herself online.

Sharing photos of her ensemble on social media, Perry edited herself into a snap of a carwash.
People have since reacted to the funny edit online. One person wrote on X: "I can’t stop laughing."
"Omg not the car wash edit," added a second.
Others on Instagram also weighed in. Noting that the photoshop edit was the last picture of her post, one fan said: "The last pic is why I love you, mother."

Another suggested Perry 'invented' the car wash with her statement look.

While Bryan joked about Perry's outfit last night, the singer evidently has a lot of respect for his co-star and stood by Perry's side when she's received criticizm on the show.
In the wake of some of the controversies Perry has faced while acting as an American Idol judge, Bryan said last year: "Katy gets picked on for going out and trying to have fun making a TV show.
"You can’t be so safe in the moment that you’re so homogenized, you can’t ever go for a joke or go for a fun moment."
I guess you can't please everyone, folks.
