With Christmas fast approaching, millions of people are preparing to watch Macaulay Culkin's Kevin find himself home alone for the holidays - but his own niece and nephew might not get to be among the viewers.
As well as being a father to his own two children, Culkin is uncle to his brother Kieran's two children, Kinsey Sioux and Wilder Wolf.
At five and three-years-old, respectively, the kids are just about old enough to understand the magic of Christmas, and maybe even start appreciating a festive flick.
However, Kieran has said that the Home Alone movies have so far been off-limits to his offspring, even though he makes his own appearance as Kevin's cousin, Fuller, in the franchise.

While the movies are generally considered suitable for kids, Kieran, who has more recently starred in the hit series Succession, told E! News that there are 'still some scary parts'.
Speaking at The Gothams 34th Annual Film Awards in New York, Kieran pointed specifically to moments that might concern his youngest child, Wilder.
He continued: “For the 3-year-old, there’s the tarantula [and] there’s the guy at the end who said, ‘I’m gonna bite off all your fingers.’ That’s scary for a 3-year-old.”

However, that's not to say Kinsey and Wilder will never be able to watch their dad and their uncle get up to no good at Christmastime, as Kieran admitted his children might soon be ready to deal with everything the movie has to offer.
“We think they might be ready for Home Alone this year,” he said. “If not, next year.”
As hard as it might be to believe, it's now been 34 years since the McCallisters first forgot their son in Home Alone, and the stars have come a long way since then.

Culkin, who was just 10 when he appeared in Home Alone, now shares his kids with The Suite Life of Zack and Cody star Brenda Song, who he shared his love for in a speech, while receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in December 2023.
At the event, the actor said: "I'd like to thank Brenda. You're absolutely everything. You're the best person I've ever known. And after the birth of our two boys, you've become one of my three favorite people."
Meanwhile, Kieran shares his two kids with his wife Jazz Charton, who he married in 2013, after she moved to New York City from London in 2010.
