That role - her first recurring part in a scripted series - actually went down surprising well with most fans, although some weren't won over by her acting chops.

Her most recent foray into drama in American Horror Story met with a mixed reception.
Speaking about the role to Variety, Kardashian said: "It's a challenge. I like to challenge myself."
However, some criticised the move as 'stunt casting' designed to amp up marketing for the series.

She admitted that the backlash to her AHS casting was upsetting - with her eventually turning to Salma Hayek for advice.
And now her latest role is already causing plenty of discussion.
Kardashian appears to be turning her hand to comedy with a role in new project The 5th Wheel.

This has been billed as a 'female-driven comedy' written by alumnus of Saturday Night Live Paula Pell.
Pell is set to co-produce the project with Kardashian and her co-star of Wine Country Janine Brito.
Deadline has reported that Kardashian has so far been 'hands on' throughout the process of getting the film made.
