Kim Kardashian has opened up about the 'craziest thing' happening with her eldest daughter, North West, after her divorce from Kanye West.
Kim and Kanye - who now goes by Ye - finalized their divorce in November 2022 after eight years of marriage. The pair share four children together - North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
And on yesterday's episode (February 27) of The Kardashians, Kim opened up about how the divorce impacted her relationship with eldest child, 11-year-old North, during a game of ping pong with older sister Kourtney.
She revealed the 'craziest thing' happened between her and North.

Kim explained: "Tell me if this happened with Mason. North is like, obsessed with me now and like, calls me with her friends, like, 'Mom I love you, you're the best mom, I love you so much.'"
Kourtney noted 'she's always been like that with [her]' and questioned whether Kim had 'changed' in some way, prompting the different behavior.
Kim reflected there was 'a year' of North being 'mad' at her and, agreeing with Kourtney's suggestion, she thinks the change was 'all' because of 'the divorce'.
To which Kim added: "It's insane the turnaround."

Kim has previously spoken out about her relationship with her eldest on the show, revealing in 2023 that North had said she preferred going to her dad's house.

During an episode which aired in November that year, she said: "She’ll go to her dad’s. She’ll be like: 'Dad’s the best! He has it all figured out. He doesn’t have a nanny, he doesn’t have a chef, he doesn’t have security, he lives in an apartment'.
"And she’ll start crying: 'Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment!'"

The episode also saw North rip into her mom's cooking, a producer asking Kim if she can cook and North answering on her behalf: "Heck no."
Kourtney reassured Kim she experiences something similar while co-parenting with ex-partner Scott Disick, explaining she's often been told by her kids their dad's house is 'best' and the 'vibe is better' despite it not being 'super big'.
"I feel like everything falls on the parent that's more involved," Kourtney argued, adding in another episode: "Obviously, having nannies and a chef to help cook is beyond helpful. It's all about family and enjoying these moments. It takes a village to raise kids, but at the end of the day, your kids only want you."
