Kris Jenner breaks down in tears as she reveals worrying health update

Cameras have been following the Kardashians around for years, but even if you aren't a fan of the show, chances are you're keeping up with them in some capacity.

In the latest episode of The Kardashians, it was teased at the end that Kris Jenner has a major health scare as she opened up to her children about the recent results of a medical scan.

The 68-year-old was in tears as she shared the news to her family, with daughters Kim, Khloe and Kendall all present, as well as boyfriend Corey Gamble.

Speaking on the show, she said: “I wanted to tell you guys something. I had my scan. And this just makes me really emotional, but they found something.”

It was a lot to take in; Kris overcome with emotion wiped her eyes with a tissue, while Gamble was also seen wiping his eyes.

While in the official trailer for season five of The Kardashians, the matriarch confessed that a 'little tumor' was discovered when she went under the knife.

She said: "I had my scan, they found a cyst and a little tumor."

Khloe, however, managed to find the funny side of it as she joked about her mom's constant health issues.

The 40-year-old said: "I absolutely love my mom. But I feel like every other day, every other week, I’m getting a text or a phone call of her just complaining about another ailment that’s on the rise."

The iconic mom is not the first person to get upset on the show in recent weeks.

Kylie Jenner previously got super emotional on The Kardashians when talking about the amount of 'nasty' comments she's received about her appearance online.

Jenner has been in the spotlight since she was 10 years old when her family's flagship show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, first debuted.

And since then her appearance has been a hot topic, with many speculating whether she has had any surgery - to which she admitted to having 'temporary lip fillers' but has denied having had surgery on her 'whole face'.

It's easy for people to share critical comments from behind the safety of a computer screen, but the star has made clear that they do impact her as she was seen in tears on a recent episode of the Hulu show.

Speaking to sister Kendall Jenner, the beauty mogul said: “It’s like a miracle that I still have confidence and I can still look in the mirror and think that I am pretty."

Jenner spoke about 'hurtful comments' from trolls saying she had 'f***** up' her face.

"I hear nasty things about myself all the time." she said in her confessional, adding that it 'just gets exhausting'.
