LeBron James has broken his silence after his 18-year-old son, Bronny, suffered a cardiac arrest during a workout, assuring his friends, fans and family that his son is 'safe and healthy'.

He took to Twitter today (27 July) to share an update on his family's well being.

"I want to thank the countless people sending my family love and prayers," the Lakers star began.

"We feel you and I'm so grateful. Everyone doing great. We have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love."
