Logan Paul has been called out following his comments directed at Bad Bunny who has faced an ongoing backlash after being chosen to do the Super Bowl halftime show.

Despite being one of the most popular global music artists right now, rapper Bad Bunny, real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has been facing a backlash since he was announced as the Super Bowl halftime act.

Conservatives have highlighted their annoyance with his selection, especially since the star has previously said he does not perform in English regardless of the occasion.

While his 15-minute set has been praised by many, Donald Trump, who has long taken issue with the rapper’s selection, took to social media to denounce it.

Another person who took issue with the show was Jake Paul, who called for people to not watch the halftime show in a message on X that some have called 'racist'.

The post read: “Purposefully turning off the halftime show.

“Let’s rally together and show big corporations they can’t just do whatever they want without consequences.

“(which equals viewership for them) You are their benefit. Realize you have power.

“Turn off this halftime. A fake American citizen performing who publicly hates America. I cannot support that.”

Many people pointed out the fact that Bad Bunny is an American citizen as Puerto Rico is an American territory.

Surprisingly, one of the people to call out Jake Paul was his brother, Logan Paul, who took to social media to denounce his comments.

He wrote: “I love my brother but I don’t agree with this

“Puerto Ricans are Americans & I’m happy they were given the opportunity to showcase the talent that comes from the island.”

Others also highlighted that just because an individual is critical of America does not mean they hate the country.

One user went as far to call Paul’s comments racist, saying: “Fake American? What's our First Lady? A fake American?Yall so racist, just admit it.”

Another annoyed social media user added: “They pick and choose. Whomever trump is against, they are against. They’re a bunch of f****** puppets.”

While a third added: “Let’s not pretend that if the Super Bowl was streaming on Netflix you’d be saying this 😂.

“If Netflix wanted bad bunny to perform on your next fight, you’d be promoting it.

“You’re bought and sold just like everyone else.”
