Representatives for Luigi Mangione have set the record straight following rumors that the accused killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson featured in a sex tape said to be worth $500,000.
Mangione, 26, is currently being held in custody as he faces of charges of murder as an act of terrorism, weapons, and stalking offenses in connection with the death of Thompson on December 4, 2024.
Mangione has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is next set to appear in federal court on March 19 - but being behind bars hasn't stopped stories about the accused killer from spreading in the outside world.

Earlier this month, an article was published online which claimed Mangione had a 'stash' of sex tapes which were of 'cinema level' quality and were filmed with 'perfect lighting'.

The claims came from an unnamed source but after hearing the news, Kevin Blatt - who helps celebrities broker deals around sex tapes - told The Sun there was no truth to the reports of a high quality video.
However, Blatt did not shut down allegations of a sex tape altogether, as he described being approached by someone who wanted him to 'help him get a half a million dollar deal for this tape'.

Blatt alleged the video he was familiar with was a low-quality creation, which he spent 'a month and a half verifying and vetting'.
In the wake of the allegations, Mangione's attorney, Karen Agnifilo, has now hit back and completely shut down the rumors surrounding explicit videos.
Speaking to the Mail Online, she said: "Hopefully everyone realizes these are fake and not Luigi."

Blatt spoke further with The Sun about his experience with sex tapes as he dismissed the idea of Mangione having a 'stash' of content.
He said: "I'm known as the number one sex tape broker in the country, so if I haven't come across a tape, it’s pretty safe to say it doesn't exist. So I don't believe that he has 20 tapes out there.
"If there were 20, I definitely would have seen more than I have. And I don’t believe he was making videos with women.
"The video I have seen is not high production stuff - it's pretty seedy, solo stuff that looks like he recorded it in a bathroom at his parents' house and in a bedroom."

Blatt went on to claim that he 'made a couple of enquiries' with regards to the alleged tape, but 'nobody wanted to touch it'.
Agnifilo's denial of the allegations come as Mangione faces the possibility of the death penalty if he is found guilty of the charges against him.
