Mark Wahlberg says that his family are 'happy' after moving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.
The Ted actor recently upped sticks last year from California - but his family are pretty delighted about the move to Sin City, according to Wahlberg.
However, the 52-year-old also insists that his new hometown isn’t what some people might think.
Wahlberg was one of many stars leaving Hollywood in 2022, with his former Beverly Hills home selling for a staggering $87.5 million (£72m).

But what influenced the decision to relocate?
Well, the Uncharted star said that, like many aspiring actors, he'd moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting - however, he had only made 'couple of movies in the entire time that I was there'.
He also added that he wanted to be able to work from home too.
And now with his family finally settled, he revealed that his wife, Rhea Durham, and their four children: Ella, 20, Michael, 17, Brendan, 15, and Grace, 13, were ‘happy’ with the move.

"Everybody's adapted nicely. The kids are all out at school, and everybody's happy," he told People magazine.
In another interview with Fox News Digital, he revealed that the move was also giving his kids the chance to ‘thrive’.
While this may come as a shock to some given Las Vegas’s reputation, Wahlberg says there’s much more to the city than it’s infamous strip.

Continuing, he added: "It just has the best of both worlds. I know a lot of people, when they think Las Vegas, they think the Strip.
"But just about 15, 20 minutes away, there's a whole lot of other amazing areas that are all about family and community."
Touchingly, the Departed star revealed that the decision to relocate had also been inspired by his kids.

“[It’s] really about giving the kids an opportunity to pursue their goals and dreams,” he explained. “My daughter's an equestrian…My son's a golfer. My oldest daughter, now she's off to college. My son's a junior.”
However, Wahlberg also has some major plans of his own including setting up a shoe factory, having already invested in resale site StockX.
And if that weren’t enough, he also wants to set up a studio, telling the outlet: “We want to create lots of jobs here."
With so much on his plate, it’s not surprising that Wahlberg is considering leaving acting behind him - even with two Oscars to his name.

“I don’t think that I’ll be acting that much longer at the pace I am now…” he confessed to Cigar Aficionado in September, adding: “That’s for sure. Because that’s the most difficult thing.”
Say it ain’t so, Marky Marky!
