If you haven't been paying attention recently, it's been a bad week for Matt Rife.
And now it looks as though things have gone from bad to worse after a plastic surgeon shared a controversial TikTok...
Let's start at the beginning shall we?

Matt Rife is a comedian who rose to fame on TikTok.
His huge following was made primarily of women.
But following the release of his Netflix special, Natural Selection, it looks as though that could all be about to change.
Rife told the world he had deliberately tailored his show to men, and even included a grim joke about domestic violence.

Defending himself to Variety, Matt said: “Despite what you think about me online, I don’t pander my career to women.”
Matt has also previously complained about how difficult it is to be physically attractive as a comedian.
In an interview with Men’s Health he said: “I’ve been doing stand-up for a little over 12 years now.
"I will say, I don't think it helps you by any means — people don’t want to laugh at physically attractive people, you don’t want to walk on stage and have people looking at your arms rather than listening to your jokes.”

However, eagle-eyed fans have pointed out that Matt Rife didn't always look this way.
In clips from MTV improv show Wild ’N Out in 2015, Matt's jaw looks noticeably less defined.
Fans have questioned whether Matt used surgery or filler, but he's always insisted he had a natural glow up.

He said during one of his stand-up routines: “Puberty hit me so disrespectfully late – I was ugly as s*** for the first 22 years of my life.”
He also spoke out about the surgery rumors on Cancelled with Tana Mongeau, saying: "People’s number one online insult is: ‘Well, as least I don’t have plastic surgery,’ cool, neither do I.
"I’ve had people who claim to be plastic surgeons that’ll be like: ‘He’s had this…’ and I’m like, cool, you’re not only lying but you’re wrong at your job.”
“I’m like, thanks, people pay for this? That’s so crazy!” Matt continued.

“Shout out to doctor G-O-D!”
However, following the furore from his Netflix special, Rife's response to plastic surgeon TikToker @manyfacesofchicago has reignited the rumors.
In a clip, Dr. Benjamin Caughlin is shown reacting to a caption that reads: “Me after creating the greatest jawline ever seen just for my patient to get cancelled right after…”
He added in the description: “He shall not be named… #cancelled #jawlinecheck #comedian #standup #celeb”
And even though Matt Rife's name was never even mentioned, he decided to comment on the post: “Lying about medical history is illegal, just FYI.”
Fans reacted with bemusement, with one saying: "He didn’t even mention you."
Another said: "Gasp… whose medical history is he lying about? Spill that tea sis."
UNILAD has contacted Matt Rife's representative for a comment.
