Megan Fox has defended a ceremony in which she and Machine Gun Kelly drank other's blood to celebrate their engagement.
The Transformers star appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alice Cooper this week and opened up about her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, confirming their engagement has been called off.
Among the topics of conversation in the interview was the moment that she and the musician got engaged.

The pair met on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020 and began dating.
Their relationship was the subject of much speculation, and in 2022 Fox and Kelly - real name Coleson Baker - revealed that they had gotten engaged.
But one aspect of the engagement drew a lot of attention and criticism.
Now, there are many ways to celebrate getting engaged to your partner. Maybe you could open a bottle of champagne, have a nice meal, or go on a romantic getaway together.

But Fox and Kelly decided on a very different celebration of their engagement.
Let's just that what they drank was very far removed from champagne.
That's because the pair celebrated with a ceremony where they drank each other's blood to mark their engagement. How very gothic!

Fox has now hit out at critics of the ritual in her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
In an x-rated comment, she said: “Guess what I think is weird. I think it’s weird that girls are out here letting guys c*m in their mouth and they don’t know these guys.”
Some bodily fluids are better than others!
Fox had previously clarified that the pair were not chugging goblets of each other's blood, but that it was 'just a few drops'.

She told Vanity Fair: “It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.”
The actor explained that she's into astrology and does 'rituals on new moons and full moons', and that she would also sometimes use her blood when performing rituals in a 'controlled' manner.
As for the response, it's fair to say that opinion of the blood rituals was divided, and more so the strange justification.

Some people were less than convinced by Fox's justification of the ceremony.
One wrote: "yea still weird tho," while another commented that it's 'still disgusting'.
But others appeared won over by the remark, with one person replying: "Everyone loves to pick her apart but god forbid she speaks and its FACTS."
A second posted: "She’s actually so real for this."
