People are shocked after finding out Mia Goth's real full name

Fans of Mia Goth have been left stunned after realising the star's full name, as many admitted that they now 'love her even more'.

Many actors such as Goth will be known by a name other than their full name, especially taking into account long middle names.

In the UK specifically some actors may even take on a stage name if someone on the acting union Equity's books already has their name.

For example, Richard E Grant recalled in his memoir that he had to add the 'E' to his name after being contacted by a Shakespearean actor also called Richard Grant.

Some years later after achieving success Grant received a call from the actor's wife, who told Grant that he could take the name now as he had died.

So it's fair to say that names are no small deal in show business, after all your name is your brand.

While Mia Goth has not added an initial to her name, fans will not be seeing the actor's full name when she appears in credits.

Including her middle names, the star's full name is Mia Gypsy Mello da Silva Goth.

And many fans were left saying the same thing after discovering the star's full name, and said as much on social media.

One wrote: "way more incredible tbh and I'm liking her even more", while another posted: "Now I love her even more."

A third echoed the sentiment, writing: "way more incredible tbh and im liking her even more", while a fourth said: "this made me like her even more lmaoo".

So it's probably fair to say that fans like her even more after discovering her full name.

Others complimented her on her name, writing: "the name goes hard though", and another said: "Whoa, that's an incredible name".

Goth had her first acting role in the erotic art film Nymphomaniac directed by Lars von Trier.

She has since established herself in the horror genre following a role in the X film series between 2022 and 2024.

Goth is also known for her roles in The Survivalist, High Life, Suspiria, and Emma.

In 2016 Goth made headlines which it was reported that she and Transformers star Shia LaBeouf had eloped to Las Vegas together and gotten married, with an Elvis impersonator officiating the wedding.

Video of the ceremony was obtained by TMZ and showed the impersonator singing a song before the couple exchanged rings.

The ceremony itself was not a legal marriage, and LaBeouf confirmed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that the pair had married.

While the pair went on to file for divorce in 2018, they later reconciled and their daughter was born in March 2022.
