Miley Cyrus has spoken out about her relationship with dad Billy Ray Cyrus amid the ongoing family drama.
While the father and daughter duo could not be closer back in the days of Hannah Montana, things aren't exactly that way nowadays.
Speculation has circulated in recent weeks that the pair have fell out, and now Miley has addressed the situation.
During a new interview with David Letterman for Netflix's My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, the 'Wrecking Ball' singer discussed the good and bad things she's learned from her celebrity father.

Speaking of Billy Ray, Miley said: "He has a relationship and a foot on the ground to the real and to nature and he always did, even when he was super famous.
"I'm grateful for being able to watch him ahead of me. He's almost given me this map. And there's a map of what to do and what not to do, and he's guided me on both."
The singer also noted: "I also inherited the narcissism from my father."
Miley was pressed on how her parents have contributed to her success today, with the singer insisting they were 'different'.

"Without my dad, I know — I mean, not just literally I wouldn't be sitting in this chair, I wouldn't exist — but I would not, who I am as a person, it wouldn't exist," she added.
"Because my dad, as a creative and as an artist in the way that his brain works, has always made me feel safer in my own mind because we're very similar in our ideas.
"So I think a lot of his perspective on reality and on life, I've inherited from him, more so than the way that I was raised — which really, my mom raised me."

Miley's latest comments comes just days after Billy Ray spoke out on the supposed family rift.

The country singer went on to claim that he was ‘incredibly proud’ of his daughter.
“She's a survivor and a true artist. She learned early on to love and appreciate the fans who make everything possible," he penned.
