Nick Cannon says he has ‘nothing to hide’ as he recalls attending one of Diddy’s parties aged 16

Nick Cannon has spoken out about attending some of Diddy's parties back in the day

Nick Cannon has recalled attending some of Diddy's parties in the late 90s when the American Idol host was just a teenager.

Once acclaimed rapper and music producer Sean 'Diddy' Combs is facing years behind bars, after being charged with a series of crimes in recent weeks.

Diddy was arrested in New York on 16 September and has remained in custody ever since, despite his team filing two bail requests.

His trial has now been set for May 2025, and he'll remain in prison until then.

As investigators continue to dig up information on Diddy, it's expected that dozens of celebrities will be named alongside him.

Attorney Tony Buzbee is representing over 100 people who have recently come out with allegations about Diddy, and he says people will be 'shocked' by some of the rapper's reported accomplices.

"We will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors. We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates," Buzbee said in a press conference as he labeled Diddy's alleged antics as 'the biggest secret in the entertainment industry'.

With his pending trial in mind, it's thought that some famous faces may be nervous about being associated with Diddy's crimes; one person who isn't though is Nick Cannon.

Speaking on The Breakfast Club in recent days, Cannon recalled attending some of Diddy's famous soirées.

The Masked Singer host said: "I have even been to one when I was a kid, like 16, 17, standing outside. I've lived my truth.

"I remember standing outside, you know, trying to get into a Puff party out here in New York. Like how the 'One More Chance' video look, that was real stuff out here. Like people standing at the door, who can get in and stuff. Bad Boy parties was official in New York in the late '90s."

Cannon went on: "Everybody gets scared to talk because they probably have something to hide, but I ain't got nothing to hide."

Cannon's comments come as Kanye West has been hit with allegations by his former assistant that he drugged and sexually assaulted her at one of Diddy's parties.

Lauren Pisciotta, who worked with the rapper that now goes by Ye between 2021 and 2022, first made accusations about the 'Homecoming' hitmaker in June and said that he sexually assaulted her in a hotel room.

Pisciotta has since amended the lawsuit she has filed against Ye - who has denied any wrongdoing - and says one night she was allegedly assaulted by him was a recording studio in Santa Monica, California, where a party that was being co-hosted by Diddy.

UNILAD previously approached Ye's reps for comment.
