A streamer has shared why she had to fire her editor after he made a shocking confession to her.
Pokimane is a hugely popular internet personality, most widely known for her streams on Twitch.
For these, she will typically stream herself playing a particular video game such as Fortnite or League of Legends.

When streamers get to a certain level of following they will often bring other staff on board to help them manage things such as posting schedules and video editing.
This allows them to focus on producing their content without having to worry about the other complications which come with having such a large platform.
In theory, this results in work being much easier for them, but unfortunately, things don't always work out that way.
Pokimane discovered this when a man she had to fire someone she had employed to edit her videos.

But why did she have to fire him?
The streamer revealed that there had been some issues with the editor's work for a little while.
This was mainly due to missing deadlines, meaning that videos would not go out in time, which is bad when you're running a social media platform.

She scheduled a meeting to talk about the problem with her editor to see what was going on and whether there was a way they could resolve the problem.
There are many reasons why someone might be struggling with deadlines.
It could be that their workload is too much, or they have problems at home, or are struggling with their physical or mental health.
These are all perfectly understandable reasons that can hopefully be worked out.

But the explanation the editor gave left Pokimane and her many followers horrified.
She revealed that he told her that the reason he kept missing deadlines was because he couldn't stop touching himself.
The streamer later clarified that it had not been about her, but that he couldn't stop, tweeting: "He said this TO me but didn’t directly say it was about me. either way convo ended and working relationship ended."

Given that his job meant she had to send him hours and hours of unedited footage, Pokimane fired him over the confession.
People took to Reddit to share their views on the incident.
One wrote: "What compels someone to do this... and what then compels them to f*cking disclose it."
A second posted: "Why the f*ck would you even confess to this lmao."
Meanwhile, a third commented: "That's what I'm wondering. Let's just ignore the fact that that's really weird and so on. Why would you ever tell her that?"
