Post Malone says he’s the ‘happiest he’s ever been’ since becoming a father.

“I guess not being able to be there for my baby, which is a new fear,” he answered. “That’s why I tried to slow down on drinking, to take better care of my body.”
Malone, who released his latest album Austin last month, welcomed his daughter in May 2022 with his fianceé. His daughter’s identity has been kept private.
Later in the same podcast interview, Malone joked that the best quality as a dad is ‘having money’ and that he predicts his baby’s first words will be ‘my credit card number’.

With that said, Malone said he’s the ‘happiest I’ve ever been, so you know, I’ll pay all the money in the world’.
The chart-topping performer said he has always wanted a big family and shared some details about his notoriously private relationship with his fianceé, saying that he ‘could tell that her heart is massive’.
He explained: “I’ve always wanted kids and like, a big family. And I could tell she was going to be a really good mam. And she’s like, No. 1 mom in the f**king universe.”

This isn’t the first time Malone has shared his plan to have a kid.
"As a kid, I was like 4 or 5, and I had this little baby I would carry around everywhere," he told Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe about wanting to be dad. "It was a baby doll. And I thought that was the coolest thing. I would take him around everywhere. And I don't know how long that lasted. But my mom still has it."
"I'm so pumped up," he said about become a dad. "I'm going to be a hot dad."

While promoting his new album and discussing parenthood, Malone also told Lowe: “Having a baby really put a lot into perspective, and it’s really slowed me down a lot, party-wise, going out and being crazy. But it’s the most beautiful thing and, I don’t know."
