Rebel Wilson has responded to speculation her explosive claims about Sacha Baron Cohen were the 'reason' the Borat star divorced from his wife.
Cohen and Isla Fisher announced their divorce in a post on Instagram last month, after nearly 14 years of marriage and the birth of three children.

The news came after Wilson made a series of claims about Cohen in her memoir, Rebel Rising, in which she alleged she had been harassed by Cohen when they worked together on the movie The Brothers Grimsby.
Wilson claimed Cohen had wanted her to do a naked scene for the film while shooting in South Africa.
She allegedly argued the scene was in 'no way essential to the plot', and accused Cohen of wanting to make her 'look and feel awful', as well as wanting her to wear clothes 'where you could see as much cellulite as possible'.
Wilson also alleged other people have come forward to her with 'stories' about their own experiences with Cohen after she named him.

Cohen has vehemently denied the claims, with a spokesperson telling The Hollywood Reporter: "While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby."
When Rebel Rising was published in the UK, her allegations about Cohen were redacted from the book.
However, after news of Cohen's divorce from Fisher came to light, some internet users speculated Wilson's claims may have been a catalyst.

"lmao on Sacha Baron Cohen & Isla getting divorced two seconds after Rebel Wilson called him a creep," one X user commented.
Wilson has now responded to the speculation in an interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, insisting she wasn't the 'reason' for the divorce.
When Fisher and Cohen shared the news of their divorce, they said they had 'jointly filed to end [their] marriage' in 2023, before Wilson's book was released.

Wilson commented: “I don’t feel like I’m the reason, but it might have just been his general treatment to women."
However, Wilson expressed belief the timing of Cohen's divorce 'wasn't great' in relation to the release of her memoir.
She also revealed that while she and Fisher 'used to be friends', she has not spoken to her fellow actress since her book was released.
Fisher and Wilson worked together in 2012, when they worked on the movie Bachelorette.
