Iron Man is rocking some ink these days as the actor talks about his matching tattoo with fellow cast mates.
As many of us have grown up watching Marvel classics and were there for each Instalment of the Iron Man franchise and later the Avengers films, mega-fans might think that they know everything about their favourite actor.
But some might not be aware that the on-screen superheroes share more than a few scenes and actually have matching tattoos.
After the premiere of Infinity Wars in 2018, the actors decided to commemorate the moment with something other than the bog standard - a customised tattoo in the shape of the Avengers ‘A’ logo blended with a six to symbolise each person.

But as everyone started to take their turns, the one and only sixth Avenger, who designed the tattoo, decided not to participate.
According to the OG Avenger, apparently Robert Downey, Jr., is still trying to convince the Hulk actor, Mark Ruffalo, to give in and join the gang with their inking.
In an interview on Wired’s Autocorrect series alongside Oppenheimer director, Christopher Nolan, Downey was asked whether he had any ink, to which he confirmed he had six tattoos.

With the most recent being the Avengers tattoo, he went on the explain how and why they chose to mark their bodies in celebration of the latest film.
He said: "That happened the evening of the premiere of Infinity War.”
"Scarlett got it first, then Chris Evans got it, then I got it, then Jeremy Renner got it, then Chris Hemsworth got it - even though he was a little tentative about it and seemed to overreact to the pain. And then Mark Ruffalo said ‘I'm not getting that tattoo - I don't want to be part of your Hollywood inside game’, to which I applauded."
But then the actor took a playful jab at his friend and mouthed 'f*** you, Mark' to the camera.
Though it was all in good fun and the reason that Ruffalo refused to get a tat was due to him 'working up the courage' to get the tattoo.

When appearing as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Ruffalo explained: "It's not over yet. There's still another movie.
"Also, I've kind of got a punk rock soul, and I felt like, 'Dude, everyone has tattoos'," Ruffalo said. "I'm going to be punk rock and not get the tattoo!"
Though he did end up admitting that he feels 'left out' and is 'working up the courage to get needled'.
But Downey wasn’t the only one to call out Ruffalo about him not committing to the ink.

Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson did it on television, when appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
The actor said: “We have an Avengers tattoo.”
“The only person who doesn’t have it is Mark Ruffalo, because he’s lame, basically. We tried to get him to do it. We said, ‘what about if we do it in white ink?... if we did it in water?’ He just shut it down.”

She went on to call him a 'party pooper' as she joked with Meyers.
