Selena Gomez's reps have addressed the viral Golden Globes clip after fans tried to work out what she said to Taylor Swift.
The annual show took place on Sunday evening (7 January), and it was full of many talking points.
Selena and Taylor caught up at the Golden Globes ceremony last night (January 7), where they were filmed in the middle of an apparent piping hot tea-spilling session, which was captured in the clip below:
Taylor's reaction to bestie Selena seemingly telling her some obviously dramatic gossip has gone viral on X, with fans going into a frenzy speculating what was said between the pair.

In the clip, Taylor looked incredulous as Selena moved in close to tell her the news, while she looked horrified, clutching at her chest in disbelief, seemingly too stunned to say anything in response.
As usual, the Swifties don’t miss a thing when it comes to the singer and were quick to share what they could lip read, with some calling it ‘obvious’ what she was being told.
As the clip got shared more and more around social media, fans continued to speculate what Selena said to Taylor and seemed convinced they can lip-read the conversation, with one fan sharing the viral clip suggesting: “I asked for a picture with him and she (Kylie Jenner) said no” – Selena Gomez “with Timothée?” *Selena nods*"

Another wrote: "She was making sure to YELL that loud so everyone could hear her lmfaoooo," while a second added: "I just love Taylor's face."
This caused a stir for Selena's fanbase, as Kylie is pals with Hailey Bieber, Justin Bieber's wife. Selena was in a near decade-long relationship Justin.
Although Hailey and Selena have been pitted against each other in the media, they have made a conscious effort to make it clear they have no bad blood towards each other, with Selena even making her own post telling fans to 'leave Hailey alone' and the pair sharing a sweet selfie together.

But it looks like Selena's fans may be overestimating their lip reading skills, as her reps have now come out and confirmed that the singer did not ask for a photo after all.
In a statement provided to Entertainment Tonight, Selena's reps said: "Selena never went up to Timothée and Kylie and asked for a photo."
Meanwhile, a Selena source told People 'she was absolutely not referencing anything about Timothée or Kylie' and 'never even saw or spoke to them'.
