Sharon Osbourne gives unsettling health update on husband Ozzy as she apologizes to fans

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne were set to have a meet and greet at an Arizona event

Sharon Osbourne has provided an update on the health of her husband Ozzy as she also issued an apology to fans.

Ozzy, alongside Sharon, was due to appear at the Mad Monster Party in Phoenix - a festival that focuses on horror and science fiction.

The celebrity pair were due to have a 'meet and greet' at the event, which cost $666, but due to recent advice from medics, Ozzy did not travel.

Sharon also decided not to attend, as well as their daughter, Kelly Osbourne.

The former The X Factor judge then took to X to explain the couple's absence while also apologizing to fans.

"Regretfully, the Osbourne family have to cancel our upcoming appearance at the Mad Monster Party in Phoenix because Ozzy is unable to travel at this time," she said in a video.

"However Jack will be there flying the flag for the Osbournes."

Sharon went on to say that anyone who had tickets booked for the meet and greet would be able to get their money refunded.

She added: "All I can do is apologise that we won't be there and I'm apologising to the people we've let down from my heart. So, God bless you all. Thank you so much."

Sharon's social media address comes just days after fans were left concerned by her response after she was asked about Ozzy.

In 2019, Ozzy had a fall which dislodged metal rods placed in his spine following a quad bike crash in 2003.

The music legend underwent multiple surgeries on his back following the fall.

The 'second surgery' which took place last year went 'drastically wrong' and 'virtually left [him] crippled,' Osbourne told Rolling Stone.

"It’s really knocked me about. I thought I’d be up and running after the second and third, but with the last one they put a f****** rod in my spine," the singer explained.

"They found a tumour in one of the vertebrae, so they had to dig all that out too.

"It’s pretty rough, man, and my balance is all f***** up."

In 2003, Ozzy was diagnosed with a 'mild' form of Parkinson’s disease, however, he only spoke about the diagnosis publicly in 2020.

He said: "Every time I scratch my a**e, they put it down to Parkinson’s!

"I’m getting p***ed off reading the papers, and they’re saying things like 'Ozzy is fighting his last battle'.

“He’s sung his last ‘Paranoid’. You know, I don’t even think about Parkinson’s that much."
