The stepdaughter of Guns N' Roses guitarist has died aged 25, the musician confirmed in a statement.
In an announcement posted to his Instagram page, Slash confirmed that Lucy-Bleu Knight had died in Los Angeles on July 19.
Lucy-Bleu was born in 1998 to Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, with Meegan and Slash first dating in 1989.

The pair got back together in 2015, with Slash coming to see Lucy-Bleu as one of his own children.
The statement read: "Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024.
"Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul."

The statement added: "The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss."
The announcement was greeted with an outpouring of sympathy and support from many people.
Among them was fellow musician, Red Hot Chilli Peppers bassist Flea, who wrote simply: "Oh man, god bless."
Another person expressed sympathy and offered their condolences, writing: "This is so heartbreaking.. I can’t imagine what you guys are going through right now.

"Sending so much love to you, Meegan & the rest of your guys family Slash.. Will have you all in my thoughts."
Someone else wrote: "I’m so sorry for your loss, Lucy was such an amazing artist and so beautiful.
"I loved her tattoo work, so unique. The world is def a sadder place without her in it."
Another commented: "All my condolences, we're all so sorry for this devastating loss. Lots of love to you and your family."

Author Susan Holmes McKagan also commented to offer her condolences, writing: "Words cannot express our deepest sympathy and condolences. love you all so much."
The statement did not make any comment on Lucy-Bleu's cause of death, and urged people not to engage in 'speculation' while they process the loss.
In addition to being a talented tattoo artist, Lucy-Bleu also worked as a day to day manager at Electric Lady Management, according to LinkedIn.

On July 21, Slash also announced that he would be cancelling a number of dates from his upcoming tour.
A statement read: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the S.E.R.P.E.N.T tour regrettably has to cancel the below performances. Refunds will be available at points of purchase."
