Suki Waterhouse has reflected on her breakup with ex Bradley Cooper.
The pair's relationship very much caught the public’s attention, from 2013 and 2015, most notably due to the age difference.
Cooper was 37 at the time and with Waterhouse being 20, they received a fair amount of flack.

When the couple decided to split in 2015, a source told E! News: “She loves Bradley and he loves her but she’s so young and wants to concentrate on her acting career before becoming a mom.”
However, Waterhouse has now opened up about the end of their romance, admitting it left some long-lasting impacts on her.
She told British Vogue: "I really will say that I’m pretty strong at this point.

"But when something very public happens to you and the story behind it is dark and difficult, and you’re actually not doing well, and you can’t explain yourself to the world, that’s very isolating and disorientating."
Waterhouse continued: “It probably has taken a decade to work myself out and actually be able to have this expansion in my life.
“Your 20s are pretty sadistic. The love I experienced [then] was only ever a fetishization, and I think when you only get loved in that way, you only get punished.
“When you get into your 30s you’re almost instantly afforded a little bit more respect. It’s kind of delightful and shocking at the same time.”

Despite the ups and downs, the 32-year-old also said she wouldn’t change anything about her past relationships.
“I wouldn't take anything back. All these chaotic ways that my life went, it was always material," Waterhouse explained.
"[Even when things felt really tough, it has] led me to a love that is really pure and a life now."

The actor and singer seems to be a lot happier in her current relationship as she got engaged to partner Robert Pattinson, 38, after six years of dating.
Earlier this year, the pair welcomed their first baby into their lives and Waterhouse spoke about how she felt supported.
She said: "We really planned it. One day we looked at each other and said, 'Well, this is as ready as we’re going to be'.
“He [Pattinson] was there with me and like all dads, he was really nervous, but for someone who’s quite an anxious person, he’s been very calm.”
