It's safe to say that Taylor Swift's year-long Eras Tour has been nothing short of a cultural mammoth.
From kickstarting a highly publicized lawsuit against Ticketmaster, to single-handedly contributing $4.3 billion to the United States' GDP (according to Bloomberg Economics), the Eras Tour has clearly defined culture over the past year whether we're looking at the friendship bracelets or the endless zeros on bank notes.
So it should come as absolutely no surprise to anyone that Swift's tour is making a mind-numbing amount of money each night.

Now, Swift's team has famously kept the actual gross from the Eras Tour under wraps. But according to a new report from Variety, sources close to the production have said that the tour is grossing $14 million each night.
While that's already a jaw-dropping amount, other experts believe that the $14 million is a tame estimate and that the tour is likely to be making an amount closer to $17 million on some nights.
In case the prospect of $17 million wasn't hefty enough, these estimates don't include the hundreds of millions of dollars worth of merchandise sales or the added value of inflated resale ticket prices from third-party sites like StubHub.

To compare Swift's nightly earnings, Beyoncé's Renaissance tour — which was also a landmark moment for every aspect of the zeitgeist last year — made $10.3 million per show according to Entertainment Weekly.
This means that Swift is essentially breaking records left and right, and is leaping miles ahead across her peers on the dollar ladder.
As the Eras Tour nears its end in December, industry experts believe that the tour will wrap up with a total gross close to $2 billion.

The numbers should come as no surprise as Swift was estimated to have already crossed the $1 billion mark at the end of 2023 by trade publications like Pollstar.
In fact, the Eras Tour officially holds the Guinness World Record as the highest grossing tour of all time after it passed the billion dollar mark, beating out Elton John's five-year Farewell Yellow Break road tour, which grossed $939 million.
Swifties have rejoiced over the recent reports of Taylor's nightly check, taking to Twitter to zealously express their enthusiasm.
