We all dream of getting up close and personal with celebs, but Taylor Swift’s fans have taken it to extremes.
In fact, hundreds of Swifties swarmed a New Jersey restaurant, with all of them eager to capture a glimpse of the Grammy award winner.
Understandably, some fans were unimpressed by the incident, calling those who took part 'disgusting' for invading the singer’s privacy - especially when police had to show up for crowd control. Take a look below:
Whilst there’s no ‘Bad Blood’ between Swift and her fans, others likened them to ‘stalkers’ after hundreds of fans congregated outside the Black Whale restaurant.

At the time, the 33-year-old had been attending a rehearsal dinner for her friend Jack Antonoff – ahead of his wedding to Margaret Qualley.
Stars such as Lana Del Rey, Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum were also in attendance at the New Jersey eatery on August 18.
However, the wedding bells were rudely interrupted with Swifties clamouring to see the singer with the curtains being drawn.

One clip even shows police arriving to help control the crowds as they stop traffic, with a shocked-looking Swift later exiting the building amid the chaos.
TikToker @toris.intel angrily hit back at fans and compared them to ‘stalkers’ in a pointed video.
"This is not the look of a woman who is happy to see y’all," she explained, adding that the ‘audacity metre is beyond’.
She went on to add that the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer looked 'scared' and that it was ‘disrespectful’ to ‘everyone at the event'.

"I speak about celebrities and pop culture every day on this account, but this is just – I can't even wrap my head around the fact of 'I'm going to go and sit outside of the venue of a private event for hours waiting for Taylor Swift," she added.
Many commenters also felt the same and expressed their frustration in the comments.
Reacting to the footage on TikTok, one fan called the incident ‘creepy and psychotic’, with others agreeing.

Another added that other fans had always respected the singer’s need for privacy and should continue to do so.
They wrote: “This is barbaric behavior. I’ve been a Taylor fan for almost 14 years now and we have ALWAYS given Taylor her privacy and space.”
Some were also concerned with the singer’s welfare after viewing the clip, writing: “I feel sick, seeing this. She can't do ANYTHING without being mobbed. She can't even go support her friends without her fans causing trouble.”
However, such scenes are getting increasingly common, with some fans known to have shared the singer’s location on social media.

It seems Swift isn’t the ‘Anti-Hero’, but her fans might be.
