Psychopath from Netflix documentary rates celebrities from 0-10 on the psychopath scale

Psychopath from Netflix documentary rates celebrities from 0-10 on the psychopath scale

Lewis Raymond Taylor has been diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder among other mental health issues

A diagnosed psychopath has shared his thoughts on where certain celebrities might fall on his so-called 'psychopath scale'.

From experiencing abuse as a child, ending up in a young offender’s institution at the age of 18, and later experiencing drug abuse, violence and prison sentences, Lewis Raymond Taylor has truly managed to turn his life around.

Taylor, 34, has been diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder, Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder, and Bipolar Type 2, and after meeting with counselors, psychotherapists and psychiatrists, and spending time in a rehabilitation treatment centre, he decided to become a life coach.

Taylor's story forms the basis of the Netflix documentary The Psychopath Life Coach, and now he's shared his thoughts on some other stars who he believes may display traits of psychopathy themselves.

These celebs have not been diagnosed as psychopaths; Taylor is simply using his own experience to suggest where they might fall on the 'psychopath scale', with 0 being 'not a psychopath', and 10 being a 'full blown psychopath'.

Listing some of the most common traits of psychopathy, Taylor pointed to anti-social personality disorders, being prone to boredom, impulsiveness, recklessness, an inability to learn from mistakes, and an inability to express, feel or understand emotions.

However, he also acknowledged characteristics including being charismatic, intelligent, strategic and thinking 'outside the box'.

Logan Paul - 0

From YouTuber to wrestler, Paul has been an influence to millions of his fans for years. Taylor indicated Paul has a number of traits that have also been linked to psychopathy, including being 'egotistical' and having a 'grandiose sense of self'.

However, Taylor added: "They're also characteristics of extremely good marketers, business people."

With that in mind, Taylor said Paul was likely not a psychopath, noting he was simply 'clever' and 'strategic'.

Kim Kardashian - 0

Kardashian has found success as a reality TV star, model and businesswoman, so while he doesn't know Kardashian on a 'personal level', he described her as 'strategic' and 'clever'.

"She's been brought up around a very egotistical, privileged environment where she's adapted into a persona of believing she has a grandiose sense of self and arrogance and all these things that could be associated with psychopathy," he explained.

However, Taylor continued: "But actually, if that's all you know [...] then that could just very well be a mask or a show."

Margaret Thatcher - 9

When considering the first female Prime Minister the UK has ever had, Taylor expressed belief that all politicians are 'probably a psychopath', noting they're 'in it for power'.

"You can't make political decisions without having the ability to bypass emotion," he claimed. Taking that into account, Taylor jumped way up the scale to place Thatcher at number 9.

Elon Musk - 9

The founder of Tesla, Space X CEO and owner of Twitter; Musk certainly has a business-orientated brain, but Taylor believes that comes at the expense of emotion as he fits a personality type of being 'introverted, intuitive, thinking and judging'.

Taylor said he does not believe Musk is a psychopath, and instead is 'just somebody with a personality type that is just very logical and rational with their decision-making skills'.

However, looking 'symptomatically at the different types of characteristics that psychopaths display', Taylor said Musk would 'probably tick every box'.

As a result, he placed him at 9 on the psychopath scale.

Donald Trump - ?

Straight off the bat, Taylor described Trump as a 'tough one' and suggested he could, in his opinion, be a 'psychopath', though he noted he'd be surprised if Trump didn't love his family.

Taylor described Trump as having a 'flick switch' personality, suggesting he could put on a 'business hat' or a 'politician hat', and can 'access different parts of himself based on what he wants to achieve'

"I think he can manipulate and lie, be a charismatic leader that is out for personal gain and wants to make money and power because those are the things he wants from life [...]

"Does that make him a psychopath? I'm not sure. Is he harnessing psychopathic capabilities that a lot of us have that but don't actually expose? Yes."

Ultimately, Taylor concluded: "Who actually knows, because we don't see what goes on behind closed doors."

Taylor admitted that generally a lot of the traits that might make someone seem like a 'psychopath' can also simply be features of their personality, so it was hard for him to say exactly where people fell on the 'scale'.

Still, given his answers, it seems like it's all or nothing when it comes to being a potential 'psychopath'.
