It could be going back to a restaurant or bar where you had an early date, a shared hobby which brought you closer together, or going through old photo albums and reminiscing together.
Being major Hollywood actors, Holland and Zendaya are in a slightly different position from most, something which also gives them a nice way to reminisce.
That is, of course, the films they made together.
If you've ever been part of a cast or crew or a band you'll know that there is a bond between the people who worked on a project. You'll always have that and the memories associated with it in common with someone.

For Holland and Zendaya, it's their time working together on Spider-Man.
Speaking on the red carpet at last night's Critics' Choice Awards, Holland revealed: "Zendaya and I will, every now and then, watch Spider-Man 1 and reminisce about being 19 and making those movies again.
"I love those movies, and I love savouring those moments, so I try not to watch them as often as I would maybe like to because it’s so special. It’s such a luxury, such a gift to be able to sit down and sort of relive your youth."

Holland and Zendaya had largely avoided posting about their relationship online, aside from the odd post gushing about the other on special occasions such as their birthday.
Some people suggested that the unfollow may simply have been because Zendaya wanted to keep her social media strictly for work purposes.
But Holland quashed rumours that the pair had split up when approached by a photographer.
Responding to the question about relationship and whether he and Zendaya had split, he said: "No, absolutely not."

That seems pretty conclusive.
