Travis Barker forced to rush home from tour to deal with 'urgent family matter'

The Blink-182 drummer is heading back to the US

Travis Barker has been forced to rush home to the US for an 'urgent family matter'.

Blink-182 have postponed their European concert dates as the drummer travels back home.

The band wrote on X (formerly Twitter): "Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States.

"The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed. More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as available."

Barker's wife, Kourtney Kardashian-Barker, is pregnant with the couple's first child together.

Blink-182 were due to play in Glasgow tonight (1 September) and have postponed the show at the last minute.

They have now postponed the UK tour until after their Dublin show on 5 September.

Kourtney Kardashian shared new pictures of her baby bump on Instagram.

Hours before the announcement was shared, Barker shared snaps to his Instagram story revealing he was in a prayer room.

The drummer took photos from inside the spaces including of a banner reading: "Together We Pray."

He and the Kardashian sister are expecting a baby boy together and previously announced the pregnancy during a Blink-182 show in Los Angeles.

The epic announcement was inspired by the 'All the Small Things' music video, which features a fan holding up a sign that reads: "Travis I'm pregnant."

Kourtney and Travis were married in various ceremonies last year and had previously used IVF to try and have a baby together, as often documented in The Kardashians.

Kourtney held up a sign declaring the news.

Both stars have children from previous relationships.

The Kardashian co-parents Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, eight, with ex Scott Disick.

And Barker is also dad to Alabama, 17 and Landon, 19, as well as step-dad to Atiana, 24, with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

Blink-182 were set to play in Glasgow tonight ahead of Belfast and Dublin next week.

At the time of writing, all of their upcoming concerts in the UK in October are still set to go ahead.

These include two back-to-back shows in London as well a night in Birmingham and two more back-to-back in Manchester.

Just days ago (26 August), singer Tom DeLonge revealed the band's upcoming album is 'only weeks (days) away'.

He wrote: "@blink182 music video(s) and album are only weeks (days) away. We are finally here."

But no firm release date for the pop-punk group's new album has been revealed.

Details of the 'family matter' remain unclear and it is not yet said when the rescheduled shows for fans will go ahead.
