A celebrity 'lookalike' for Angelina Jolie shocked fans by revealing her real appearance after she left prison.
Sahar Tabar, who shot to fame in 2017 and was nicknamed 'zombie Angelina Jolie' for her appearance, has since revealed what she really looks like.
After finding fame online, Tabar was arrested by Iranian authorities in October 2019 in a move by law officials to crack down on social media influencers.

She was later charged with blasphemy, inciting violence, gaining income through inappropriate means, and encouraging youth corruption.
In December 2020 she was sentenced to ten years in prison, but was said to have been granted a conditional release due to serving 14 months in prison awaiting her sentencing date.
After Tabar made an appearance on state-owned channel Rokna, many were left shocked over her real appearance.

Showing her face which doesn't appear as emaciated or cartoon like in real-life, Tabar explained: "My mother was telling me to stop, but I didn’t listen.
"Sometimes the words of a stranger or a friend can be more important than those of a parent."
Discussing Tabar's appearance, one person wrote on social media: "It’s amazing how many people put so much thought into what other people are doing to be comfortable in their own skin.

"Maybe if bad-mouthing and judging others wasn’t so common, fewer people would feel the need to alter their appearance."
Another shared: "Wow! It’s so sad what lengths people would go to for fame…"
Tabar has since spoken out as she reveals her previous cartoon like image was the work of Photoshop, make up and editing. She's also confessed to manipulating and editing some of the original viral pictures in 2017.
Tabar was quoted as saying: "What you saw on Instagram was the computer effects I used to create the image.

"Cyberspace was an easy way. It was much easier than becoming an actor."
Yet she has also acknowledged that some of her appearance is down to cosmetic surgery, and admits to having a nose job and lip filler.
Tabar explained that she often used to edit her pictures to 'amuse herself', as she told Russian news outlet Sputnik: "Now I can see that I have something in common with [Angelina Jolie], but I amuse myself, and to look like someone is not my goal.

"Over time I post a photo, I make my face more fun and funny, it is a form of self-expression, a kind of art."
