People are dragging Nick Cannon for the name of his 10th child

Nick Cannon welcomed his 10th child into the world last week.

And if you know anything about the television presenter, you will recall that when it comes to naming his children, he has a penchant for the unique.

For example, some of the names he and his partners have chosen in the past have included the likes of Zion Mixolydian, Zillion Heir - who he had with DJ Abby De La Rosa - and Legendary Love whose mother is model Bre Tiesi.

The 41-year-old and Brittany Bell have now had their third child together, Rise Messiah, who joins siblings Golden Sagon and Powerful Queen. Right.

Sharing the exciting news on social media, Cannon wrote: "Another Blessing!!! As my journey on this planet becomes more and more remarkable and unfathomable, all I can do is thank God and continue to ask the Most High to order my steps.

"He has given me stewardship and dominion over a family dynamic that to some is unimaginable.

"But more importantly he has blessed me with loving individuals to guide me with care through this purposeful life.

"I am so indebted and grateful for the matriarch energy in my time of need."

He concluded: "Probably the most difficult labor and delivery I have ever witnessed!.

"48 hours of excruciating pain and life risking danger to welcome 10 pounds of Love and joy named RISE MESSIAH CANNON."

Obviously, the birth of a child is a pretty exciting and wonderful thing, right?

Well, despite the joy the rapper and his family are feeling at the arrival of their newest member, some are not so mad on the name.

Sharing their thoughts online, one user asked: "Why Nick Cannon keep naming these kids these bizarre names?"

Another commented: "The names of Nick Cannon’s kids sound like something an anime character would yell before a special move."

"Jeez, nick cannon sure is “wild n’ out” with all these kids names," put a third.

While another added: "How does Nick Cannon remember all these kids names?!?! He prolly rehearse in the car on the way there like final exams."

Towards the end of 2021, Cannon actually announced that he was undergoing a bout of celibacy.

However, in January this year, he revealed that he was expecting another child, Legendary Love, who was born in June.

And on 14 September, he welcomed Onyx Ice Cole Cannon, who he had with model LaNisha Cole into the world.

Can't wait to see what the next one's called.
