Although Offset is often referred to as Quavo’s cousin, it seems that the pair are not biologically related.
The rapper has also clarified that he's not biologically related to the late Takeoff either.
Last month, the Migos star revealed a tattoo in memory of the band member, who died nearly six months ago at the age of 28.

In November, Takeoff - real name Kirsnick Khari Ball - was pronounced dead at the scene outside a bowling alley in Houston, after being shot.
Offset - real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus - posted two images showing his back inked with the face of Takeoff in a hoodie and wearing chain necklaces as he is surrounded by the galaxy and planets.
There is also a halo-style half-circle around Takeoff’s head in the picture, which has been used in art associated with Jesus Christ.

Fellow band member Quavo - real name Quavious Keyate Marshall - shared a heartfelt and nostalgic track called Without You in January.
Despite Quavo being Takeoff's uncle, Offset has revealed that he isn't related to either of them.
The 31-year-old, who is married to Cardi B, told Variety that he has always just been friends with the band members.

"While Quavo was Takeoff’s uncle, the two were just three years apart in age, and although Offset is often referred to as Quavo’s cousin, they are actually not biologically related," the article states.
Of Takeoff's death, Offset said: "It's hard for me to talk about s**t right now. I've never talked about this stuff. Seriously. Talking about Take is hard, man.
"That's why I don't, to be honest. That s**t hurts. Like, it's gonna put me in a mood, and I don't want to get in that mood.
"Some things I don't never tell nobody. He's not here. That s**t feels fake, bro," he said.

They performed together at the pre-Super Bowl concert in suburban Phoenix, Arizona, in February.
In December, 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark was charged with murder in connection with Takeoff’s death.

Takeoff was shot in the head and back as more than 30 people were leaving a private party at the bowling alley around 2.30am on November 1.
