Priyanka Chopra has revealed the fine dining served at the Met Gala on Monday (May 1) certainly did not hit the spot.
In fact, the fancy food had one glaring omission that would have had a huge impact.
The Met Gala served no bread rolls.

While the meals were incredibly exquisite - Vogue reported that the dinner menu was made up of 'chilled spring pea soup with baby vegetables, lemon crème fraîche, and truffle snow, followed by Ōra King salmon with vegetable nage, asparagus, pickled strawberries, and radish—all served on vintage china' - there was barely a carb to be seen.
Which left the Citadel star wanting.
She sat down on Good Morning America on Thursday (May 4) to chat about her new TV show and upcoming movie, Love Again, but it was the Met Gala menu that had her tongue wagging.

"There was no bread for dinner ... I was so hungry after," the runner-up of Miss India 2000 said.
"Maybe I have unrealistic expectations, but one roll of bread would be sufficient."
But, thankfully, it was her darling husband Nick Jonas who saved the night.
The pair were left so hungry by the star-studded event's lackluster meal that they turned to a cheeky takeaway after the fancy shin-dig.
"My husband ordered pizza by the time we got to the hotel, so we were fine."

But will her criticisms earn her the ire of Met Gala gatekeeper Anna Wintour?
Chopra reckons so.
"There goes my invite for next year," she told the hosts of Good Morning America.
She joked: "If you don't see me at the Met, you know why."

Yikes.
But it turns out the Bollywood to Hollywood star wasn't the only one less than impressed by the Met Gala's culinary offerings.
Rapper Pusha T even revealed via a post to his Instagram story that singer Teyana Taylor snuck in a takeway meal - Chick-Fil-A, for those wondering - to eat for dinner instead of chowing down on the in-house menu.

The menu was shared to social media, and it turns out plenty of people had opinions about what the celebrities were served up.
One social media user said: "Sweet raptor Jesus, this is the menu for the Met Gala tonight. Celebrities are starving themselves to death and paying through the nose for the privilege. What is this crime against food?"
A second added: "The food on the menu at the Met Gala all sounds disgusting?"
A third quipped: "The Met Gala food [offerings] are so 'appetite suppressant'."
Yikes.
Now we get why Chopra and Jonas opted for pizza in the end.
