Rachel Bilson shares 'crazy' age she had her first orgasm

The O.C. alum chatted with comedian Whitney Cummings about when they had their first orgasm.

Rachel Bilson has revealed the ‘crazy’ age when she had her first orgasm from sexual intercourse.

The actress, who rose to fame on The O.C., had to wait a couple of years before she climaxed from intercourse for the first time.

The 41-year-old joined stand-up comedian and writer Whitney Cummings – whose surname appears to be unintentionally relevant to the conversation at hand – on the podcast Broad Ideas.

The pair had a very candid chinwag about sex, where the 2 Broke Girls creator wasted no time in sharing with Bilson and listeners that she had her first orgasm from sexual intercourse after getting off of birth control within the last year.

“I could do it with my hands whenever,” the 40-year-old comic explained.

Bilson revealed she had her belated first orgasm aged 38. “Isn’t that crazy?” she said.

The Hart of Dixie actress then followed-up Cummings’ confession, adding: “Of course, yeah. But not from, like d**k inside.”

Bilson, who hosts the podcast Welcome to the OC, Bitches!, didn’t go into the details of this particular orgasmic experience. Cummings on the other hand detailed the cheeky ‘perfect combination’ that led to her own experience.

"He had a straight d**k, and I’ve been told my uterus was tilted,” she spilled. And to me, sex always feels best when you’re on your period.”

Cummings said she often hears ‘a lot of women say they don’t [orgasm from sex] until after they have a kid’. Bilson, who shares an eight-year-old daughter named Briar with her ex Hayden Christensen, said ‘maybe’.

The orgasm gap is a real thing. A study by the International Academy of Sex Research found only 65 percent of women usually reach orgasm during intercourse, compared to 95 per cent of men.

Leading on from that shocking finding, a study by Durex showed that 30 percent of heterosexual men believe the best way to bring their partners to orgasm is by vaginal penetration, however more than half of women said they climax more often through clitoral stimulation, 33 per cent favour finger foreplay and 22 per cent prefer oral play.

Bilson often chats about her sex life on Broad Ideas, which she hosts wither longtime bestie Olivia Allen. The pair also talk about mental health and are often joined by celeb guests, like Chelsea Handler, Alison Brie and Margaret Cho to name a few.
