Shakira didn't mince her words for her ex Gerard Piqué in a video shared on Valentine's Day.

The singer, who just last month released a diss track following the dramatic split, has taken another jab at revenge with a lip sync to SZA's 'Kill Bill', in which she mouths the words "I might kill my ex".

The song is about a scorned woman who seeks a murderous revenge against her ex-partner and his new lover.

In the clip, Shakira can be seen mopping the floor (well, technically it's the rug) as she lip syncs to the chorus.

"I might kill my ex/Not the best idea/His new girlfriend’s next, how’d I get here?" she mouths in the video, looking at the camera.

"I might kill my ex/I still love him though/Rather be in jail than alone/I did it all for love," she continued.

And the video was met with mixed reactions from fans.

While some supported the singer's way to cope with heartbreak, others expressed concerns over her recent behaviour.

Shakira's clip is the latest development in the post-breakup drama, seemingly addressing Piqué's new relationship with Clara Chia Marti after the two went Instagram-official.

Shakira appears to have another message for her ex.

The Colombian pop star and the former footballer met in 2010 and started dating the following year, welcoming children Milan and Sasha in 2013 and 2015 respectively.

In June 2022, the couple announced they had parted ways after 11 years together by releasing a short joint statement.

"We regret to confirm that we are separating," the statement read. "For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect our privacy. Thank you for your understanding."

On January 11, Shakira unexpectedly dropped a diss track titled 'BZRP Music Session #53' with Argentine hitmaker Bizarrap in which she appears to be taking aim at Piqué and his new girlfriend.

In the Spanish-language hit, the 'Hips Don't Lie' singer casually drops the world 'salpique' which translates to 'splash'.

Many have interpreted this as a nod to her ex, particularly as she pauses in between the first and the remaining syllables, making the last two sound as she is saying Barcelona's centre-back's last name.

She also seems to refer to Marti, who is 12 years Piqué's junior.

"I'm worth two 22-year-olds / You traded in a Ferrari for a Twingo / You traded in a Rolex for a Casio," Shakira sings in one of the song's most memorable lines.
