Former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne says the side effects she suffered after injecting a weight loss drug left her ‘very sick’.
Osbourne, 70, was recently hosting her show, The Talk UK, where she talked to fellow panellist, Daisy McAndrew, about some of the side effects she'd suffered after using a injectable weight loss drug.
Weight loss drugs, such as Ozempic and WeGovey, have grown in popularity, and some experts are concerned that this could led to issues tackling obesity.

Last month, prescription drug Wegovy’s debut in the UK was put on hold, due to an unprecedented demand from NHS patients and experts warning that the ‘skinny shot’ could be a 'gateway to eating disorders'.
According to Diabetes UK, using Wegovy can 'lead to weight loss because it is designed to suppress appetite so you eat less'.
However, according to WeGovy developers, the injectable is a 'prescription medication for adults with obesity (BMI ≥30) or overweight (excess weight) (BMI ≥27) who also have weight-related medical problems, to help them lose weight and keep it off'.
They also add that 'Wegovy should be used with a reduced calorie meal plan and increased physical activity'.

Osbourne, who didn't reveal the name of the drug she'd used, revealed that after taking it for four months, she lost a total of 30lbs (2.1 stone).
“I took [the injection],” she said. “I took it for four months and I lost 30lbs., but like everything, there’s always no quick recipe.
“I was very sick for a couple of months. The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever,” she continued.

“I took [the weight loss drug] for four months, I lost 30lbs. I’ve just shoved two chips in my mouth, while we had the break, and I eat normally now, and I haven’t put on a pound. Nothing.”
After discussing her experiences with weight loss injections, Osbourne also discussed how shedding pounds isn’t necessarily a simple process.
She said: “[Losing weight] it doesn’t work like that for a lot of people’s metabolism. It is a mental problem. It really is, apart from, you know, when children grow up in a household where they live off chips and pies.”

Osbourne also recently told The Sun that she felt her latest cosmetic surgery procedure left her feeling like she’d gone ‘too far’.
She said that her most recent facial treatment left her “looking like a cyclops” and that she is done with going under the knife, for now.
Osbourne admitted: “That [recent] facelift put me off and it frightens me, I really f***ing pushed it with the last facelift and I am now like, ‘no more’.”
