Snoop Dogg responds to claims that he smokes up to 150 blunts a day

Snoop Dogg has finally set the record straight about the amount of weed he smokes in a day.

The 51-year-old rapper is well known for his love of cannabis, however recently the internet has been awash with rumours about the number of blunts he smokes each day. Check out his response here:

Renegade Piranha, who said that she was Snoop’s ‘personal blunt roller’ claimed she rolled about a half a pound of blunts a day, equalling 75 to 150 joints.

“I calculate it at over 145,000,” she said during an appearance on the Australian radio show The Kyle and Jackie O Show.”

However, the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” hitmaker has put an end to the speculation in an Instagram post showing the blunts he gets through ‘in a day’s work'.

Sharing a video of his nine ‘roaches’ – or the small, remaining ends of a joint – the rapper said: “B*tch said I smoke… b*tch, this is all in a day’s work. Stop lying.

“F*ck I’ma smoke all that weed in one day. What am I, a f**kin’ machine? B*tch, this is the roaches. See… roaches.”

Well, that certainly settles one of the internet’s biggest stoner mysteries.

Snoop had shared the video only a mere two days after responding to a social media post claiming Piranha had ‘twisted 450,000 blunts since she started working for him in 2016’.

Snoop Dogg – whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.- replied: “The b*tch is conning u man,” alongside three laughing emojis.

However, back in 2013, Snoop replied to a fan on Twitter revealing he smoked 81 blunts 'in a day', leading his followers to believe Piranha’s comments were probably right.

He also responded to a tweet from the UberFacts account which tweeted: “Snoop Dogg employs a full-time blunt roller who makes between $40,000 and $50,000 (£34,913.80 - £43,642.25) a year.”

The iconic rapper chimed in to correct that the figure is actually higher because of the economy.

“Inflation. Their salary went up!!” he shared.

How considerate of him.

Snoop’s love for weed has even led to him smoking inside one of the world’s most securely guarded buildings in the world.

Speaking to Heather B from SiriusXM back in 2016, Snoop shared details of the risky move.

When asked where the ‘one place’ he’d always wanted to smoke but never thought he’d get the chance too, he quickly replied: “The White House.”

Pressed to give more details, he continued: “So we at the White House, you understand me, for a celebration or what not, for Herbie Hancock. So, we had a little dinner and I’m like, ‘where the bathroom at?’ they like,‘It’s over there’. So, I’m like, ‘Alright cool’.

“Slide over to the bathroom. I look around, check the surroundings, make sure there ain’t no CIA around. Light up some tissue, just to see if anything gonna happen, tissue works. Boom. Next thing I do is pull that thing out of my sock.”

This certainly gives a new meaning to risky business.
