Oh, and it had the perfect Stranger Things caption, which read: "I guess I’m more similar to Will than I thought."
Obsessed.
The nine second clip appeared with a text overlay that read: "When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was 'we know'."
In the short video, Schnapp mouths along with a soundbite that says 'you know what it never was? That serious'.

Of course, there were also plenty of references to his character, Will Byers.
Now we just have to hope Byers will get to live his truth in the hit show.
And we're really hoping that will happen in the final season, with Schnapp confirming in July what everyone already knew: Will is gay and is very much in love with his best friend, Mike Wheeler.

Fans have long suspected that Will’s feelings for Mike, played by Finn Wolfhard, were more than just friendly - and many believed that the touching scene in the back of the van from season four all but confirmed it.
Schnapp told Variety that he believes it's ‘100 percent clear’ his character is gay and in love with Mike.
“Now that he’s gotten older, they made it a very real, obvious thing. Now it’s 100 percent clear that he is gay and he does love Mike. But before, it was a slow arc. I think it is done so beautifully, because it’s so easy to make a character just like all of a sudden be gay," he explained.
Now isn’t that just life imitating art right there.
