Warning: Mild spoilers for Succession season four below.
As one adventure ends, another begins and that's especially true for Succession star Sarah Snook, who bid farewell to the hit show and revealed that she's just had a baby.
Yes, sorry Succession fans but that really does look like it for the HBO show after four brilliant seasons of Roy family drama, the power struggle for who'll actually succeed Logan Roy (Brian Cox), and Kendall's (Jeremy Strong) traumatized mumbling while his dad tells him how much of a failure he is.

It's going to be sorely missed, not least by those who made it happen, but there will be other experiences and opportunities to replace Succession in the end.
The stars of the show have been taking to social media to bid farewell to Succession, with Brian Cox calling it his 'greatest work experience ever' and Sarah Snook crediting it for having 'changed my life'.
In her tribute to the show, Snook also revealed some pretty big news of her own, though plenty of Succession fans will have been anticipating her announcement.
Taking to Instagram, Snook paid tribute to Succession and revealed some personal news as she posted a picture of herself about to watch the final episode.

"It’s hard to express what this show has meant to me," she wrote in a post which said she'd miss the people she worked with most of all.
"The places I got to go, the immense talent I got to work with…it breaks my heart that it is all over. But my heart had to be this full of all the memories, good times, challenges and triumphs, to be able to break at all…so that makes me grateful."
"To have been blessed to join this crazy adventure of a show will be a career highlight, which will no doubt be hard to top."
Joining Snook in the picture was her new baby, with the top of the newborn's head visible in the picture she put on Instagram.

"I just watched the final episode of the final season of something that has changed my life. And now, my life has changed again. Thank you for all the love and support," she wrote to end the post.
Succession fans will have been anticipating this announcement as they'll have seen Snook pregnant on camera, as the baby on the way became big news for her character Shiv as well.
Interestingly, the initial plan for the fourth and final season of Succession didn't involve Shiv getting pregnant, even though it ended up being such a crucial plot point on the show as the drama sped towards a conclusion.

The series creators 'didn't know Shiv was going to be pregnant' even after they'd learned that Sarah Snook had a baby on the way, but worked it into the story brilliantly.
Luckily for the minds behind Succession, Snook's character had discussed kids with her husband, Tom Wambsgans (Matthew Macfadyen), and the idea of a parent's relationship with their kids is a major theme of the show, so it all really fit into place well.
