Taylor Swift surprised fans with a heart-wrenching performance of an emotional ballad during her tour amid reports of her rumoured relationship with Matty Healy coming to an end.
The Grammy-winning pop star, 33, has performed two surprise songs at each of her concerts as part of her record-breaking The Eras Tour.
During the third and final gig in Chicago on Saturday (June 3), Swift performed a piano rendition of her 2017 hit 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever'.

The track explores feelings of heartbreak and lost love and includes lyrics like, 'Wondering if I dodged a bullet, or just lost the love of my life?' which appeared to make the singer choke up while singing on stage.
Other heartbreaking lyrics include: "'Been sitting eyes wide open behind these four walls, hoping you'd call/ It's just a cruel existence like there's no point hoping at all" as well as, "I just wanna keep calling your name until you come back home."
The performance has received renewed attention because just one day after it happened, it was reported that Swift had split from The 1975 frontman Matty Healy on Monday (June 5).

Fans have taken to social media to discuss the rousing rendition of the song. Since Swift is known for dropping Easter eggs and hints in her music and performances, some followers believe she might have chosen the song because of what's said to be going on in her personal life.
"Her voice breaks - she‘s looking up trying to hold her tears - continues to sing like that, it’s literally heartbreaking," one fan commenting.
"That line is hitting a little too close to home for her," another Swiftie added.

"The voice crack," someone else tweeted.
Swift and Matty were last seen together on 25 May in New York City. They were first linked together as a couple last month.
The British musician had been spotted supporting Swift during the Nashville concerts on her The Eras Tour.
The pair were also spotted numerous times leaving a recording studio in NYC.

Back in 2014, rumours claiming the musicians were dating took over the internet, however, Healy shot them down, saying they had met but that there was 'no like, relationship or anything happening'.
He also said he found it 'funny how people really, really buy into that'.
Neither musician has commented on their rumoured relationship.
UNILAD has contacted Swift and Healy's reps for comment.
