Tiger Woods has set the record straight on his relationship status as rumors have circulated for weeks.
Golfing legend Tiger Woods made a sweet gesture on social media when he finally confirmed that he was in a relationship with Vanessa Trump, Donald Trump’s former daughter-in-law.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, he said: "Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts."

Woods also shared two images of them together, with one of them showing them cuddling on a garden chair.
Vanessa was previously married to the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., between 2005 and 2018.

The pair have five children together, including 17-year-old Kai who has gone to school with Woods’ children Sam and Charlie. Kai is expected to go on to University of Miami to play golf.

Vanessa also shared one of the images of her and Woods on her Instagram story, however, she did not add any caption.
People on social media, like any topic, had something to say about the announcement.
Some fans congratulated the two and wished them well, with one Twitter user commenting: "I treasure you both. I pray that you gain all the blessings that God has for you. Please keep your relationship between you both and don't worry about the haters, especially on this platform."
Another said: "Happy for you both, forget the negativity, focus on having fun and enjoying life together, that’s all that really matters."

While a third simply wrote: "Congratulations! Hope you two have a great life together."

However, some users questioned why the pair were asking for ‘privacy’ as they made a public announcement about their relationship.
Some of the pair’s supporters decided to answer and offer up an explanation for this so the couple didn’t have to.

One person wrote: "Several replies ask the question why formalize an announcement and then ask for privacy. An answer to this is quite simple."
And another commented: "For those questioning this post, he’s likely confirming their relationship yet asking for privacy to enjoy it and not have to deal with negativity and hate or a million questions. I think it’s a sweet gesture of him and I know the Trump family cares for both of them. I wish them the best."
Which makes sense, seems they want the world to know that they are dating and to now be left alone so the speculation can stop.
