Tucker Carlson has claimed he was 'mauled by a demon' that left 'claw marks' on his body while he slept.
The former Fox News presenter says the incident left him bleeding and with physical scars, but he still doesn't understand what happened or exactly what creature caused his injuries.

Speaking to John Heers for Scooter Downey's documentary Christianities?, Carlson explained that he was asleep in bed at the time with his wife and four dogs.
While you might immediately assume that the dogs caused the scratch marks, apparently not.
In the clip, Carlson was asked by Heers whether he believed 'the presence of evil is kickstarting people to wonder about the good?'
And Carlson was adamant in his answer, explaining: “That’s what happened to me. I had a direct experience with it.

"In my bed at night. And I got attacked while I was asleep with my wife and four dogs and mauled, physically mauled.”
When asked what attacked him, he continued: "By a demon. Or by something unseen that left claw marks on my sides.
"I was totally confused, I woke up, and I couldn’t breathe, and I thought I was going to suffocate.

“And I walked around outside and then I walked in and my wife and dogs had not woken up. And they’re very light sleepers.
"And then I had these terrible pains on my rib cage and on my shoulder, and I was just in my boxer shorts and I went and flipped on the light in the bathroom, and I had four claw marks on either side underneath my arms and on my left shoulder. And they’re bleeding.”
The former television host explained that he couldn't have caused the marks himself as they didn't fit the size of his hands and besides, he sleeps on his side and doesn't have long nails.

“No one has to believe me, I don’t care, but that happened to me," he added, explaining that he had never heard of it happening before but immediately knew it was spiritual.
Carlson explained that when he woke up the next day, he assumed he'd had a bad dream, before spotting blood on his bedsheets.
Following the terrifying experience, Carlson added that he was 'seized with this very intense desire to read the Bible' which he called a 'transformative experience' after reading it and re-reading it over the course of a couple of years.
