Whoopi Goldberg has said she disagrees with Meghan Markle and warned her that she could be 'making other women feel bad'.
The Oscar winning actor was responding to comments Markle made about her time on Deal Or No Deal.
The former Suits actor said that while she was grateful for the job as a briefcase model on the show as it 'paid the bills' while she was getting into acting, she ended up feeling 'objectified' in the job.
Speaking on her popular podcast, On Archetypes With Meghan, the Duchess spoke about her time working on gameshow Deal Or No Deal and said that she felt uncomfortable during her time on the show.

She said: "I would end up leaving with this pit in my stomach knowing that I was so much more than what was being objectified on the stage.
"I didn't like feeling forced to be all looks and little substance. And that's how it felt for me at the time, being reduced to this specific archetype."
Cautioning Markle not to make 'other women feel bad' for taking a job and 'trying to make a living', Goldberg spoke about her comments on The View.

She said: "I don't know that the people who are sitting there are thinking about you like that. They're thinking 'I want the money'.
"The objectification might be coming from you and how you felt about how these women were being portrayed, and that's what you have to change, because we're performers.
"When you're a performer, you take the gig, sometimes you're in a bozo suit, sometimes you've got a big nose and this is just the way it is. You left, and that was your prerogative. I feel bad, because I don't think people were looking at these girls like this, I think they want the money."

When it was put to Goldberg by The View co-host Sunny Hostin that Markle's comments made her think of how certain body types were viewed in the showbiz industry, she responded by saying 'that's TV'.
Goldberg said the Duchess of Sussex would 'know that's what the show was' when taking the job so taking it in the first place was her responsibility.
However, the panel ultimately agreed she was within her rights to walk away from any job that she didn't feel comfortable doing.
Goldberg has been a vocal critic of many things on The View, with one of her recent targets being Netflix's recent Jeffrey Dahmer series.

She said that she'd be 'enraged' at the true crime series if she was related to any of the serial killer's victims.
