Having to throw away bottles of liquid at the airport can be frustrating, but a TikToker has highlighted how to avoid this annoyance.

Having to throw stuff away at the airport can be a frustrating start or end to your vacation, but maybe less so after this little hack.

If you aren’t clued up on every possible airport security rule, there is a chance you might have had some trouble trying to board a flight or get into a country. This is most apparent when dealing with security who are checking your bags and suitcases.

Now, occasionally it requires elite level restraint not to kick off when security instructs you to throw away a full bottle of aftershave, deodorant or drink.

But a TikToker has quite a simple hack to sidestep this annoyance while still following the rules.

Flight attendant Seymon Kates, who claims to work for Delta airlines, shared her tip to her social media following on her TikTok page @Jetsetting_Skates.

“Okay, so here is a little flight attendant hack for you guys. If you guys like oat milk or any kind of milk or condiments get a breast milk bag and put your liquids in there, they do not spill,” the TikToker said before pouring almond milk into a breastmilk pouch, sealing the bag tight, and turning it upside down.

According to the Transportation Security Administration rules flyers are allowed to bring a ‘quart-sized bag of liquids, aerosols, gels, creams and pastes through the checkpoint.’

“These are limited to 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) or less per item. This is also known as the 3-1-1 liquids rule,” the rules state.

“Placing these items in the small bag and separating from your carry-on baggage facilitates the screening process. Pack items that are in containers larger than 3.4 ounces or 100 milliliters in checked baggage.

“Any liquid, aerosol, gel, cream or paste that alarms during screening will require additional screening.

Social media users praised Kates for her tip and insisted she had made their lives a lot easier.

“This is the most resourceful FTK s**t I’ve ever seen! *grabs keys to run down to the Walmart*,” joked one user.

“Never thought of this!! Definitely will be using!,” added another, while someone else wrote: "I think you just changed my life."

“You just showed me an entire new world. Loved this,” commented another user.

“Girl this just saved me because I could not find the silk almond milk shelf stable bottles to save my life I wanted to pack oatmeal,” another thankful user wrote.
