Bartender warns which shots you should never let people buy you

The advice comes from a bartender at Jackie's Bar in Dublin

A bartender from a bar in Dublin has shared her advice on which shots you should never let people buy for you.

Spoiler alert, it's all of them. Shots are never a good idea.

Alright, while I stand by that last part, the first bit isn't strictly true. You can find out which shots to avoid below:

The advice comes from a bartender at Jackie's Bar, a '90s themed boozer' located in Dublin 8, Ireland.

With a soundtrack consisting of tracks like 'Wannabe', 'Waterfalls' and 'No Scrubs', it's understandable that you might not want the night to end while on a trip to Jackie's Bar, and so after a while it becomes pretty much inevitable that someone's going to get the shots in.

Usual favourites include jägerbombs or tequila, but there are also a few outliers that some of the crueler members of your group might try to trick you with.

Let's start with the 'tapeworm shot', shall we? Yes, it's a real thing, and it looks just as disgusting as it sounds.

The shot is mostly made up of vodka, but if that wasn't enough to get your throat burning then there's a little bit of Tabasco thrown in there too for good measure. Still not gross enough? Why don't you add a bit of mayo?

Tapeworm shot, anyone?

The bartender in the clip uses a dollop of mayo in the shot glass, but adding the condiment from a squeezy bottle causes it to come out in one long, stomach-churning line and curl up in the glass to resemble an actual worm. Bottoms up, everyone!

Up next we have 'liquid steak' - potentially the least offensive of the three, and possibly even quite enjoyable if you're a meat eater. That being said, most people don't want to drink their steaks.

This shot is made with Barcardi, with a bit of Worcestershire sauce added to give it - I can only assume - a more savoury taste.

Don't let your friend trick you into drinking these.

The third shot you should never agree to drink is the 'smoker's cough'. No, it's not just tar in a shot glass.

This drink is by mixing Jägermeister with not just regular mayo, but 'warm mayo'. The sauce floats on top of the liquid, meaning it will be the first thing to hit your lips once you start to drink.

If these shots aren't enough to get you to call it a night, then I don't know what will.
