63-year-old Cheryl McCain and her 26-year-old husband Quran McCain have been praised on social media after giving a baby update.
The couple has faced significant criticism on social media for their age gap, but have continued to bat away the comments and prove that age really is just a number.
The pair first met when Quran was only 15-years-old when they both worked at a Dairy Queen. While they have said there were no romantic feelings or interactions then, they eventually hit it off when they met again at a gas station years later by chance.

Cheryl and Quaran’s followers have also defended their relationship on multiple occasions, most recently when the pair announced that they would be welcoming a baby into their family.
Cheryl, from Rome, Georgia, is already a mother of seven and a grandmother of 17, but wanted to build a family with Quran when they got married.
Despite the criticisms they have received, they have continued to update their followers on TikTok about the ups and downs and in May of this year, they announced they had found a surrogate and are expecting a baby of their own.

In a new video posted on TikTok on July 8 the pair had a gender reveal party with some friends and family.
In the clip, their friends played a cheeky lil' prank on them first, having them pop a balloon filled with equal amounts of blue and pink confetti.
They then when outside for the real gender reveal, both holding smoke cannons and setting them off to reveal they would be having a baby girl.

Regardless of these comments, Cheryl appeared to take no notice and even posted a follow up video wearing a banner that read, ‘mommy to be’.
