A customer took to social media after a delivery driver left a ridiculing message on their car despite being tipped.
If you have received really good service after ordering a cheeky Uber Eats or DoorDash order you might fancy tipping.
The driver got your complex order perfect, delivered it quickly and was friendly when they handed you your food.

So, if you chose to leave the person a $10 tip the last thing you would expect is the driver to give you some attitude.
Well, on Reddit one user claimed they had quite a shocking experience with a driver.
They shared a photograph of the alleged note as well as a bag of change they left alongside it on their car.

On Reddit, the poster wrote: “Food delivery driver left a note on our car in a bag with $1.95 and a passive aggressive message.
“We tipped him $10, the restaurant is a 10 minute drive away.”
The note read: “Here’s some spare change you clearly need it more than I do. Keep it for your next delivery driver’s tip. Stay safe.”

Even though it's not clear what delivery service the Reddit user used, it is quite a bizarre thing to receive if the post is to be believed.
Social media users couldn’t believe the hilariously cheeky message from the driver and were quick to share their thoughts.
“After a few bad experiences with the various delivery services, I’ll starve in my house rather than deal with it,” one wrote.
A second commented: "Seriously, it takes 45 mins to an hour for them to deliver the food and it's already cold by then. So you just paid an extra 30-50% of your meal to get delivered cold food. And they always forget something."

A third added: “'Stay safe' - don't know if it's a warning or an advice.”
Someone else claimed: "The tipping culture is out of control."

“This delivery driver carries paper, a pen, and spare sandwich baggies all for the purpose of writing passive aggressive messages in case he thinks he’s being under-tipped?” questioned another.
This person wasn’t the only person who questioned the validity of the story as well.
With some people arguing they felt the story sounded a little too odd to be true, another said the ‘bs meter off the charts’.
