A wedding groom now faces the terrible ire of the internet after an unbelievable stunt on his wedding day.
Weddings come in all shapes, sizes and varieties but, in the traditional sense, are expected to be a celebration of two people’s love in front of their friends and family.
Well, one bold groom chose to throw tradition out the window with his wedding vows.

Who needs heartfelt confessions of love and adoration when there is a golden opportunity for a joke. And as a lover of ill-timed jokes, I'm all here for it.
A clip has begun circulating on TikTok and Instagram of the moment a groom decided to live and die by his joke.
The Louisville-based wedding filmmaker, Samuel Foree, shared the video to his Instagram page (ckentertainmentservices) on Thursday (December 14) and it has so far been viewed more than 41,000 times.

Gleefully smiling, the groom said: “I promise to smack that... every chance I get. Booah,”
“That’s all I got,” he added before laughing to himself.
The officiant did his best to throw the groom a life jacket by asking repeatedly if that was all the groom was going to say.
Still laughing, the groom added: “I didn’t write nothing down. That’s what I’m going out with. We’ve made it this long,”

Social media users, like with everything else online, were left furious.
“Can you get divorced during a wedding service? Asking for this lady?” A user wrote.
“This is your f***ing wedding dude lol are you for real? How embarrassing,” said another.

“I’d f***ing walk off. Marry your damn self,” added another.
Just when comment sections on social media were heating up with more scolding criticism, the wife of the comedically bold man stepped in.
“No worry guys! I’m the wife of this lovely man. We have 2 kids together and have been together for 10 years. We aren’t a very serious couple,” the wife explained in the comment section of the TikTok video.

“He also put the ring on my wrong hand. He doesn’t do public speaking and my officiant knew that and still was trying to get him to say something.
“He’s a very loved and amazing man. It was funny!! The whole wedding was funny,”
Some people still complained and condemned him and her as well. She dismissed their critical comments and asked why people cared so vehemently when she and him were more than happy with their wedding day. More power to them.
If she is happy with it not much else to be said but to wish them many more happy years together.
